Feeling lucky with no cause
(It’s a good morning)
Need to go contemplate by my favorite spot, where my thoughts rest easy
(Let me check my fantasy league)
Read a book about time
(Maybe grab a coffee)
How much difference a second makes
(And chill at the bench)
Where my mind can roam free,
Where my thoughts rest easy
Just chill no thinking,
Just good old blinking
Where my mind can roam free ,
Where my thoughts rest easy
Calm and peace in park
(it’s only 10 thirty)
Watch says 10 thirty oh well, let me feed these ducks
(Let me wash up, put on my sneaks)
(Then make my way over to the park)
Need to deliver these flowers,
(It will be good while it lasts)
Was good while it lasted
Where my mind can roam free,
Where my thoughts rest easy
Just chill no thinking,
Just good old blinking
Where my mind can roam free ,
Where my thoughts rest easy
Roam free rest easy
Where my mind can roam free
Where my thoughts rest easy
Just chill no thinking just...
Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
