This is new, the pain of loss is real
No matter who, it still has the first time feel
Life moves on, even though you’re gone, it moves on
Life moves on, without your song
And I think about all the laughs I’ve missed
Think about all the hugs I’ve missed
The precious time I’ve missed
No matter what I’ll miss
I’ll miss you
It’s a disaster but my heart will heal
This is new, hurts like brand new shoes
Sad but true, sometimes we play to loose
Life moves on, even though you’re gone, it moves on
Life moves on, without your song
And I think about all the joys I’ve missed
This very life of mine I’ve missed
The previous time I’ve missed
No matter what I miss, I’ll miss you
It’s a disaster but my heart will heal
So long
Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
